# Buy-Sell Items

First, let’s look at the four ways in-game assets can make their way to the blockchain and then to the TON marketplace:

1. **First Sale** \
You sell your assets **for the first time** via the presale mechanism (private and public sale). Assets are minted for each sale stage separately and in advance. The sale is from **your wallet to the user's wallet**.
2. **Secondary Market** \
The secondary market, or the marketplace, to be precise, is where anyone can offer an asset for sale, even you as a game developer. Assets are all minted in advance. The sale originates **from your or any user’s wallet to another user's wallet**.
3. **In-game** \
You can give users access to a new asset **in the game**. If the user has a wallet, they’ll receive the asset immediately. If not, they will be prompted to set one up. All information on assets is known in advance and minted via TON Play API **directly** to the user’s wallet.
